Bambu Global Expands Executive Team with the Addition of John F. Cohan as Vice President, Corporate Strategy and General Counsel

Lowell, MA., April 3, 2019 – Bambu Global, a family of innovative companies advancing disruptive technologies to enhance and save lives, announces today that John F. Cohan has joined the company as Vice President, Corporate Strategy and General Counsel.

Cohan will be responsible for providing strategic counsel on legal, business, and operational matters. He will also represent the company’s legal interests on a variety of fronts including finance, governance, real estate, intellectual property, employment, litigation, and general corporate matters. Cohan brings a deep sense of where legal, technology, and business intersect and how to leverage each to benefit the company as a whole.

Cohan joined Bambu Global after 22 years as a corporate attorney at notable Boston law firms, where he focused in his practice on mergers and acquisitions, venture and private equity financing, corporate finance, and intellectual property matters. He also advised early stage companies and technology entrepreneurs in connection with venture capital financings, private placements of equity and debt securities, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property licensing, and general corporate compliance.

Cohan is also an adjunct Professor at Boston University School of Law, teaching upper level Transactional Contract Drafting. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University (1986), and his J.D. from New England School of Law, magna cum laude, (1996).
