John joined Bambu Global in 2019 after 22 years as a corporate attorney at notable law firms in Boston. At Bambu, John is responsible for strategic counsel on legal, business, and operational matters. John brings to Bambu a keen sense of where legal, technology, and business intersect and how to leverage each to benefit the company as a whole. He is energized by the “dynamic legal and business challenges that come with disrupting legacy industries.”
Previously in private practice, John focused on mergers and acquisitions, venture and private equity financing, corporate finance, and intellectual property matters. He also advised early stage companies and technology entrepreneurs in connection with venture capital financings, private placements of equity and debt securities, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property licensing, and general corporate compliance.
John is an adjunct Professor at Boston University School of Law, teaching upper level Transactional Contract Drafting. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University (1986), and his J.D. from New England School of Law, magna cum laude, (1996).
